Life just takes over, ya know. Living in Culver City, thankfully close to the day job, but everything else requires a stint in traffic, a walk to the train station, a train ride, an uber. Then I get to the end of the month and I’ve got no money and no idea where my time went.
Must mean I’m having fun?
Got a new song posted! Actually it’s an old song, but I keep updating it whenever I get new sound libraries. The original drummer was a Roland JV1080, then I updated to Steve Smith drums because I love Journey and Vital Information, then I got Neil Peart’s library and realized I like the snare better than Steve’s for this tune. Then I realized the closet space between my bedroom and bathroom could double for a vocal booth, so I put my voice to work in ways that probably scared the neighbors…
Except the guy next door. Every morning at 6:30 I leave for work and I can hear the dude’s alarm going off indefinitely.
Enjoy this semi-new tune with a photo of me eating a $10 cup of ice cream: A Moment of Clarity
